The GIANTS did what was said to be the IMPOSSIBLLE…they beat the Patriots in the Superbowl!!!
The Giants D gave Brady a SMACK DOWN!! What a defensive game.
The road to the Superbowl:
1. After starting 0-2
2. After the defense gave up 80 points in the 1st 2 games of the ‘07 season
3. After going on a 6 game winning streak
4. After loosing star players to injuries [and still won games]
5. After almost beating the Pats in the final regular season (lost by 3 points)
6. After beating the Bucs in Tampa
7. After beating Big D in Dallas
8. After beating The Packers in Green Bay with all the awe and mystic of the frozen tundra (Lambeau field)
9. After beating Favre with all the dominance of Favre in cold weather games..in playoff games at Lambeau field
10. Ater the NFL held 10 playoff games and Eli being the ONLY quarterback NOT to throw an interception
11. After being only the 4th team in NFL history to start 0-2 and make it to the Superbowl
12. After having a 10 ROAD game winning streak (new NFL Record)
After all that…the Giants still didn’t get ANY Respect!!!
No one said the Giants could do it…all the media was ready to crown NE as the best team in NFL history! I laugh in their collective faces…HA!
After Plax made the prediction of the Giants winning 23-17, and when Tom Brady was asked about it, his response was..
“We’re only going to score 17 points?” he said then. “OK. Is Plax playing defense? I wish he had said 45-42 and gave us a little credit for scoring more points.”
Well no Tom…you ONLY scored 14 points!! You don’t know how much grief I have been taking these past 2 weeks from my fellow photographers from the US. Here is a t-shirt for all the NY Football Giant fans => http://www.i-hate-the-new-england-patriots.blogspot.com/
That last drive was a drive….don’t know how Eli escaped the sack nor do I know how Tyree caught that ball but man oh man what a catch!!! On any given Sunday, any team can beat any team and the Giants proved that!! This was probably one of the BIGGEST upsets in sports history. This Superbowl win is sweeter then the ‘86 & ‘90 Superbowl wins!!
BIG BLUE IS in DA HOUSE!!

Well, the Superbowl is only a few days away…the day of reckoning is fast approaching. The Giants are underdogs in this game and have been for most of the year, especially during the playoffs. The Giants need to keep the game close going into the 2nd half [to have a chance to win] because they are not a come from behind team - never have been.
Which team is better prepared? Which team wants it more? The time for talking is over!

SUPERBOWL BABY!!!

The Giants aka G-Men aka The NY Football Giants aka BIG BLUE are in the bloody SUPERBOWL BABYYYYYYY after defeating Green Bay 23-20 in overtime!!!!!
It was a tough game….I was worried for a bit - especially since the kicker missed 2 key field goals; one in the second half with 0.04 seconds left on the clock which would’ve won the game for us. Green Bay won the toss and had the ball first in overtime. Fortunately Favre threw an interception and that was the defining moment for us.
After missing 2 prior field goals, Tynes (the kicker) had a 3rd chance for redeem himself. Needless to say, the kick was good.
The Giants are on a 10 road game winning streak - an NFL record!!
Onto Arizona where we face Brady and the Patriots again…..it’s payback time Brady!!!
Go BIG BLUE!!

The NY FOOTBALL Giants beat America’s team, The Dallas Cowboys today 21-17…WOHOOOOOOOO!!! Who’s ya DADDY!! Who’s ya DADDY!!
Quarterback Eli Manning had a Superbowl caliber drive at the end of the 1st half. With 0.47 sec left on the clock, Eli drove the Giants down the field 71 yds before throwing a 4 yd touchdown to Toomer to end the half tying up the score.
Do you know how hard it is to win 9 straight road games in the NFL?? The Giants do….and have been successful with 9 road wins this season. The NFC Championship game is in the frozen tundra of Green Bay next week and the G Men will try and make it 10 road game wins in a single season. In order to win that game, we HAVE to stop the run and put more pressure on the quarterback….
Go BIG Blue!!

The Giants beat the Bucs 24-14 today in Tampa. I could’ve obtained tickets for the game today but I decided to do what I came to Tampa to do - go to the tradeshow and take care of Chic business. The organisers of the event were expecting 5,000 - 6,000 attendees. Everything a photographer, needed, wanted and didn’t need was being showcased - from the latest digital cameras & lens’, to gadgets & widgets, printers, albums and everything in between.
There were quite a few Giants fans, who flew down from NY, staying at my hotel. One fan I met said he had an extra ticket to the game…VERY tempting but I couldn’t go…just couldn’t do it!
The good thing is that the G-Men WON!!! I’ll watch the replay of the game on Wednesday evening on NFL Network.
Now onto Dallas where hopefully the 3rd time is a charm.

Antwan will be out of the office until January 10th due to travel. I’m heading to Tampa, FL for Imaging USA which is the 1st photography tradeshow of the year and also one of the largest. I will have limited access to the internet but I wil have my Blackberry so I will respond when I can.
Just by coincedence, my beloved NY Football Giants are playing the Bucs in the wild card game this coming Sunday in Tampa. I’m supposed to be in a workshop on Sunday BUT if I’m lucky, I might be able to get a ticket to watch the game. If I do, I will gladly blow off the workshop on Sunday.
We almost had the Patriots…man, that was the most painful loss of the season! This Sunday, we need Eli, Plax, Jacobs, Strahan and Osi to have a BIG game…Go Big Blue!!
Oh yeah, before I forget, Anthony’s annual Bridal Show is January 20th, 2008 at Souh P. I will have more on the bridal show when I return but I have a new line of wedding albums I will be showcasing…ya gonna luv ‘em!!
Go Big Blue!!!
