ATTENTION ALL 2009 BRIDES & GROOMS TO BE……
COMPLEMENTS OF CHIC is back! It’s that time again - when CHIC gives back to the community, acknowledging that we must stay connected to and appreciative of the community who treat us well and in which we thrive.
“Thinking Outside the Box” – taking photography to a whole new level and never forgetting to give something back to a community that has given much to us.
We continue to be mindful of the fact that weddings are very costly and that not everyone is able to afford exactly what they would like to have for their special day. With that continual understanding in our hearts and heads, CHIC remains committed to giving one truly deserving couple the opportunity to have first class, creative photography and photos to make their day a memorable occasion!
You may recall that in 2007 we held a competition for couples who were getting married this year (2008), giving them (or someone who knew the couple), the opportunity to write in with their stories, detailing why they should be the winner of FREE, that’s right, FREE photography services for their upcoming nuptials and an engagement session. You may also recall that Doreen and Rahji Edness were the lucky winners and CHIC recently shot their wedding on February 23rd, 2008.
Well, for those of you who are planning weddings for 2009, you too can now have the same opportunity – compliments of CHIC and friends!
For an available 2009 date, you will receive:
- FREE wedding coverage. The deserving couple will receive a complimentary engagement session, coverage of their day (up to 8 hours), a disk of all their images, and an album from our Prestige Line. There will be NO cost to the couple, nothing hidden, no gimmicks - nada.
- 15-30% discount from one of Bermuda’s hottest designers - Ambiance Design Studios. The winning couple will meet with Tamisha Greene of Ambiance Design Studios and discuss how their reception venue can be decorated into a masterpiece!
- FREE bridal boquet OR 20% discount off the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids flowers, courtesy of El Shaddai Florist.
- COMPLIMENTARY His & Hers gift basket from Secrets full of sexy and romantic items - such as body sprays, massage oils, candles and a little lingerie.
- $100 travel voucher from Meyer Franklin Travel (Meyer will create a bridal registry and anyone interested can contribute to the couple’s trip).
- Up to 100 invitations, complements of All In The Details. The giveway includes design, all paper, assembly and packing.
- COMPLIMENTARY limousine service for the bride and groom from Diamond Elite Transport Service or Red Carpet Limousines.
- Sweet Dreams Wedding Day Coordinator/Director - value is peace of mind…which is priceless!
- Last…but certainly not the least…a 8 night, 7 day stay in a One Bedroom condo (or equivalent) at one of the Hilton Grand Vacation Club resort properties which are located in Orlando, Miami, Hawaii, Las Vegas or Cancun, Mexico.
Guidelines for entry:
- Must be getting married in 2009
- The date and location of your wedding must already be established.
- Send in the story of why you or someone you know deserves beautiful wedding images by CHIC along with an image of the couple.
- Supply all of your contact information so that you can be reached if you are a finalist i.e. names, phone, address, e-mail.
- CHIC will meet with the finalists in order to gain our final evaluation to select the overall winner.
- Applications should be sent via e-mail at wedding_gift@chicbermuda.com until December 29th, 2008. In the Subject line of the email, include the bride-to-be’s First & Last name and the groom’s First & Last name (in that order)
- Couples that have already booked the services of another photographer are NOT eligible to enter!!
The recipients will be announced on this blog on January 25th, 2009.
Please NOTE:
- Wedding parties should not exceed a maximum of 16 persons and entrants will not be considered if maximum is exceeded. Persons who wish to be considered must TRULY be deserving of this gift.
- The $100 travel voucher can not be exchanged for cash and an only be used towards purchase of travel at Meyer-Franklin Travel.
- The discount from Ambiance will be determined by the size of your reception venue.
- The winning couple will be required to make an appointment with All In The Details the week they are notified that they have won.
- 8 night, 7 day stay at any of the HGVC properties is dependent upon availability and is a courtesy of Chic Studio
So fellas, if you haven’t popped the question yet, you need to do it within the next few months. Save your pennies and go and get that ‘rock’! Ladies, if he already did the deed and you are procrastinating with the details - you need to finalize your plans.
